The Chicago office of Lifeline Humanitarian Organization is a registered charity in the state of Illinois. The new democratic government of Serbia is working vigorously to reduce the number of people living below the poverty level, to re-house internally displaced persons and to rebuild the country's shattered health care system. Lifeline's role is to help by providing some of the medical equipment and to renew hope that the outside world still cares about the people of Serbia.
