Lifeline helps the people of Serbia regardless of religion or ethnic origin by providing medical equipment to hospitals and clinics, and desperately needed supplies to orphanages. The Chicago office of Lifeline Humanitarian Organization is a registered charity in the state of Illinois.
The government of Serbia is working vigorously to reduce the number of people living below the poverty level, to re-house displaced persons and to rebuild the country's health care system. Lifeline's role is to help by providing some of the medical equipment and to renew hope that the outside world still cares about the people of Serbia.
