The Three Kolo Group of Lifeline Chicago Supports the St. Petka Women's Monastery

Mother Gliceria, of the St. Petka Monastery in the village of Izvor, Serbia, appealed to Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago for assistance.  The abbesses of this monastery oversee the care of over forty female permanent resident patients in a building on the monastery grounds.  The resident patients suffer from severe physical disabilities and many are immobile.  Due to cut-backs in governmental funding, the request was made for a supply of adult diapers for the residents.

A heartfelt thank you to amazing and tireless efforts of The Three Kolo Group of Lifeline Chicago - The Circle of Serbian Sisters of St. Archangel Michael of Lansing, Illinois, The Circle of Serbian Sisters Kneginja Zorka of Lansing, Illinois, and The Circle of Serbian Sisters of St. George of Joliet, Illinois - for their fundraising efforts and donation of 56 boxes of diapers, totaling 3,360 individual diapers, which were delivered to the monastery for the patients.
