Kovin Psychiatric Hospital in Kovin, Serbia

The HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation and Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago, which is under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Katherine have, for over 15 years, assisted the Psychiatric Hospital , providing necessary medical supplies, bedding, and clothing for the over 800 resident patients of this hospital.  This Christmas, as in past years, Lifeline Chicago sent packages of clothing and hygiene bags to patients. 

 A very heartfelt thank you to the Three Kolo Group (The Circle of Serbian Sisters of St. George of Joliet, Illinois, The Circle of Serbian Sisters Kneginja Zorka of Lansing, Illinois, and The Circle of Serbian Sisters of St. Archangel Michael of Lansing, Illinois) for donating new plaid winter jackets to the residents of Kovin. 

 In addition, a very heartfelt thank you to Lifeline supporter and benefactor, Rade Savic, for spearheading efforts and collecting thousands of t-shirts for the resident patients. 

 Due to the largesse of the donors and benefactors to Lifeline Chicago, the residents of Kovin enjoyed a brighter Christmas holiday.
