Serbian American Football Team

The Kraljevo Royal Crowns, an "American-style football" athletic club headquartered in Kraljevo, Serbia, unite with Lifeline Humanitarian Organization of Chicago, to provide Christmas presents to the young patients of the children's ward at the Kraljevo Health Center.

The coaches and players of the Kraljevo Royal Crowns athletic club filled Christmas gift bags with plush toys donated by Lifeline Chicago and with holiday candies at their final match of the Junior League of Serbia.  A Christmas gift bag was then presented to each child at the hospital in Kraljevo by the coaches and players, instilling in the young players a sense of giving back to their community and of bringing joy to a hospitalized child in this blessed season of giving.

Srdjan Cosic, the President of the Kraljevo Royal Crowns athletic club, was incredibly happy that coaches, players, and fans of the athletic club were able to spread happiness to the children at the hospital.  He stated, "We are grateful to them, as well as to the contributions of HRH Crown Princess Katherine and Lifeline Chicago.  The joy of giving has become the manner of our athletes, because as we believe that we are making a small but beautiful gesture to remember the children of Kraljevo, we also believe that each of our players will never forget their humanity and that of their teammates.  In this way, our athletes build their ethics on and off the field."
